Wife Sustains Injuries and Husband Dies in Monroe County, Georgia Accident
MONROE COUNTY, GA – According to an online news report at ajc.com, a vehicular accident caused one woman to sustain injuries. Her husband died in the accident that occurred in Monroe County over the weekend.
The accident occurred in the afternoon hours on Highway 74, per the Monroe sheriff’s office. A woman was driving a Ford Edge while her husband was a passenger. Another individual, a female, was driving a Chevrolet Camaro east on the roadway. The Ford Edge entered the highway at Norwood Drive, and the two vehicles collided into one another. The drivers of both vehicles sustained injuries. The passenger in the Ford Edge died as a result of the impact of the crash. The cause of the crash has not been clarified in the report. The accident is currently being investigated by local authorities.
