Fatal Accident Occurs in Peachtree Corners, Georgia
PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA – According to an online news report at patch.com, the Gwinnett County Police are currently conducting an investigation of a deadly accident that recently occurred, per a news release from the department.*
According to the police, a man, aged 25, from Peachtree Corners, was headed north on Peachtree Corners Circle in the late morning hours. As he was approaching Jones Mill Spur, the driver indicated to police that the vehicle in front of him slammed on their brakes, which caused him to swerve. He then went into oncoming traffic, causing him to hit another vehicle head-on. The driver of the vehicle that was hit was a 37-year-old female who died as a result of the impact of the crash.
The male driver is facing charges which include failure to maintain lane and second-degree vehicular homicide.
