Pedestrian Tragically Killed in Accident on Sylvester Road in Albany, Georgia
ALBANY, GA. – According to an online news report published at walb.com, a pedestrian was tragically killed in an accident that happened on Sylvester Road in Albany, Georgia. Few details about the incident have been released at this time, and authorities are still in the process of investigating.*
The accident happened during the evening in the 3300 block of Sylvester Road. The Dougherty County Coroner’s Office and WALB report that a pedestrian was walking in the area and was somehow struck by a passing vehicle. The report said that the pedestrian had been buying groceries and was walking across the street from the grocery store, holding a bag of food. The grocery store was not named.
It is not clear where in the roadway the pedestrian was walking.
