Left-Turn Accident on Snowhill Rd. in Seminole County, Florida, Tragically Kills Motorcyclist

SEMINOLE COUNTY, FL. – According to an online news story published at, a left-turn accident that happened on Snowhill Road in Seminole County, Florida, led to the tragic death of a motorcyclist. The victim has been identified by officials, according to the news story, but the drivers of the other vehicles involved in the accident have not.*

The accident happened during the evening at the crossing of Snowhill Road and Snow Queen Drive. Florida Highway Patrol and ClickOrlando report that a motorcycle of unknown make and model was traveling north on Snowhill Road, approaching the intersection. At Snow Queen Drive, another vehicle of unknown make and model attempted to make a left turn and ended up crashing into the motorcycle. 

ClickOrlando reports that the motorcyclist was ejected from the bike during the impact of the crash and landed in the southbound lanes of the roadway, where he was subsequently struck by two southbound vehicles. No descriptive information about these two vehicles was included in the news report. 

According to ClickOrlando, the motorcyclist tragically died from his injuries. He has been identified as a 38-year-old man from Osteen, Florida. The report did not mention any passengers riding on the motorcycle with the victim at the time of the accident.

None of the other three drivers was identified in the report, and it is not clear how many people were riding in these vehicles. The news story did not say whether anyone in the vehicles sustained any injuries during the wreck. 

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are handling the investigation of the crash, and they have not yet said what caused the accident. They are still looking into the possible contributors to the accident, including whether speeding was involved or whether a right-of-way violation took place.
