Woman who has Ties with Hall Tragically Dies in a Carrollton, Georgia Accident; Two Others Die in Separate Accident

CARROLLTON, GA – According to an online news report at gainesvilletimes.com, a woman who attended North Hall High School tragically died in an accident late last week in Carrollton, Georgia, per authorities. Two others died in a separate accident in Carrollton, Georgia.*

There are no details as to the cause of the high school student’s accident.  She has not been identified at this time. Two others, a woman, aged 26, and a man, aged 26, from Covington, Georgia were killed in a separate accident, also in Carrollton late last week.

The Georgia Highway Patrol and the Carrollton Police were engaged in a road check on Northside Drive at the intersection of Stewart Street.  According to authorities, the 26-year-old woman and the 26-year-old man were in an Audi sedan where they presented their identification to a Carrollton Police officer before leaving the scene at an excessive rate of speed.  The woman was a passenger in the Audi while the man was the driver. Once they left the checkpoint, the vehicle exited the roadway after failing to safely navigate a left curve located at the intersection of Georgia Highway 113.  The Audi then hit into the woodline, flipped over, and became engulfed in flames.  The two occupants in the vehicle were tragically unable to escape the fiery wreck.

The Georgia State Patrol in Villa Rica is currently conducting an investigation of the accident.  There are no further details on the crash at this time.
