Two People Tragically Die in Separate Traffic Fatalities in St. Clair County, Alabama
ST. CLAIR COUNTY, AL – According to an online news report at al.com, two individuals tragically died over the weekend in separate accidents that occurred in St. Clair County, Alabama.*
The first accident occurred in the early morning hours on Alabama Highway 174 close to the intersection of Bowman Circle. This accident involved a pedestrian, a male, aged 40, from Odenville, Alabama, where he was hit and killed, per the local coroner.
It appears based upon the accident report that the man was walking along the roadway when he was struck by another automobile. He died at the scene of the accident just one hour after it was reported to authorities.
In a separate incident, a man, aged 35, from Springville, Alabama, tragically died in a head-on crash in Moody, Alabama in the early morning hours on United States Highway 411 close to James Taylor Road. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The extent and nature of the injuries sustained by the other driver, as well as their identity, are not known.
There are no further details on the accident at this time. The crashes remain under investigation by the local police.
