Accident Causes Delays on Interstate 95 South Close Exit 16 Exit in Chatham County, Georgia

CHATHAM COUNTY, GA – According to an online news report at wtoc.com, an accident resulted in delays on Interstate 95 southbound close to the Interstate 16 exit in the afternoon hours over the weekend.  At least one individual was transported to an area hospital following the crash.*

The accident appears to involve a driver who lost control of their vehicle, per the Pooler Police Department.  The exact nature and extent of injuries have not been reported.  It is known that one individual, who has not been identified, sustained injuries.  The accident involved a work van for a local carpet-cleaning company.

Bone fractures.   This type of injury may take a significant amount of time to heal and may require surgery.
