One Tragically Dies in Crash on Highway 395 in Pasco, Washington
PASCO, WA – According to an online news report at tri-cityherald.com, police have not been able to determine what caused a Georgia man’s pickup truck to flip over on Highway 395 close to Sagemoor Road. The accident occurred late last week during the morning hours.*
The man, a 21-year-old from Macon, Georgia, was headed northbound on Highway 395 in his Ford F-350 when he veered off of the roadway in the late morning hours located about nine miles north of Pasco, Washington, per the Washington State Patrol. At this time, the man attempted to steer his pickup truck back on the roadway however, he overcorrected, which caused his truck to roll over. A nurse who was passing by the accident scene attempted to save the man’s life but was unsuccessful.
The man tragically died at the scene of the accident as a result of the impact of the crash. The accident caused both northern-bound lanes of the highway to be closed. One lane of the roadway opened up once again about an hour after the accident occurred. The roadway was fully open to traffic in the late afternoon hours.
It is unclear as to why the man veered off of the roadway. Police are currently conducting an investigation of the accident in order to learn more. There are no further details on the accident at this time.
