Fatal Wreck Reported on Interstate 75 in Dooly County, Georgia

DOOLY COUNTY, GA- 13wmaz.com writes that a man was killed in a crash in Dooly County on Interstate 75 when he was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer. Reports indicate that the semi-truck struck the rear of the man’s sedan, killing the victim at the scene. The crash took place in the afternoon at about 1:30 p.m.*

The victim was traveling in a green Lincoln town car and was hit by the semi, causing his vehicle to be pushed into another lane where he struck a pickup truck that was pulling a trailer. While the driver died at the scene, two passengers in the vehicle survived and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The truck driver and the pickup truck driver were not injured.
