Tragic, Fatal Car Accident on I-75 in Pasco County, Florida
PASCO COUNTY, FLORIDA - According to an online news article posted by wtsp.com, a severe motor vehicle accident tragically killed three people last Saturday night.*
The fatal crash occurred on Interstate 75 in Pasco County, Florida. The crash shut down the interstate for about six hours as the Florida Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
According to the report, a semi-truck was moving southbound along Interstate-75 at Mile Marker 283. The report stated that the tractor-trailer truck was in the center lane as an SUV was also heading in the same direction.
As the semi-tractor-trailer truck changed traffic lanes, it entered the path of the SUV, causing a severe collision with the left rear of the tractor-trailer, according to troopers. Tragically, the SUV's driver and the two passengers tragically passed away at the crash scene.
The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the fatal Interstate-75 automobile accident. No other information about the accident victims or the cause of the accident.
