Tragic Fatal Accident in an Osceola County Hotel Collision
OSCEOLA COUNTY, FLORIDA - An accident news article published on clickorlando.com reports that two people have been tragically killed in an Osceola County collision that involved crashing into a Hotel.*
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, three other people were seriously injured in the motor vehicle crash. Florida Highway Patrol troopers stated that the single-car accident happened at around 4:40 in the morning. The crash happened at the intersection of Vineland Road and U.S. 192.
Florida Highway Patrol stated that five people were riding inside a Kia at the time of the accident. The 32-year-old driver from Haines City was traveling southbound along Vineland Road. The driver lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason, crossed over U.S. 192 into a Golden Link Motel parking lot, and then collided with the Motel building.
Troopers reported two passengers, an 18-year-old Kissimmee woman and a 31-year-old Clermont woman, tragically died at the accident scene. Three other people, including the vehicle's driver, were taken to a local area hospital. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a woman from Davenport and a man from Orlando were injured.
The fatal accident is currently under investigation. No additional details about the fatal accident were made public. There were no reports of criminal charges being filed at this time.
