Tragic, Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Manatee County, Florida
BRADENTON, FLORIDA - According to an online news story published on mysuncoast.com, a fatal motorcycle accident occurred in Manatee County, Florida.*
The victim, an unidentified 33-year-old man from Palmetto man, was riding his Kawasaki Motorcycle when he was struck by an SUV. The other people involved in the fatal motorcycle accident were not injured.
According to a press release issued from Florida Highway Patrol, troopers at the accident scene, a Chrysler SUV was heading east along Florida Boulevard and approaching the Washington Street intersection. At that moment, the Kawasaki Motorcycle was heading west along Florida Boulevard and approached the Washington Street intersection.
The Chrysler SUV then attempted to make a left-hand turn in front of the approaching motorcycle. The motorcyclist attempted to move to the right to avoid a crash but was unsuccessful. The motorcycle's front collided with the right side of the Chrysler SUV. The unidentified 33-year-old motorcyclist was tragically declared deceased at the accident scene by the Manatee County EMS.
Florida Highway Patrol Traffic Homicide Unit is currently investigating the fatal motorcycle accident. No additional information has been provided at this time. No criminal charges have been reported at the time of this article's posting.
