Tragic, Fatal Accident on Livingston Road at Wyndemere Way in Naples, Florida

According to an online news article published on naplesnews.com, an 83-year-old man from Naples, Florida, tragically died in a two-car accident.*

The fatal crash occurred on Livingston Road at Wyndemere Way in Naples, Florida.  The Florida Highway Patrol stated that the 83-year-old man was heading southbound in the left traffic lane along Livingston Road.  As his car approached Wyndemere Way at around 2:30 PM, a second car, driven by a 52-year-old man from Naples, was heading northbound on Livingston Road in the inside lane.  As the two motor vehicles approached a green traffic signal at Wyndemere Way, the first car's driver turned left in front of the second car.  Then the second car collided with the side of the first vehicle.

The driver of the first motor vehicle was transported to a local area hospital, where he tragically passed away.  The driver of the second vehicle sustained serious accident injuries.  The accident is currently under investigation by law enforcement.
