Tragic, Fatal Accident in DeLand Kills a Passenger Riding in the Car

DELAND, FLORIDA - A news article published on clickorlando.com reports a fatal car accident occurred last Saturday night in DeLand, Florida.*  

According to the news report, a car turned into oncoming traffic and collided with another motor vehicle. The car was heading westbound on East International Speedway Boulevard by Brunswick Lane.  The car then crossed a grass median, entered eastbound traffic lanes, and collided with another motor vehicle.

The collision caused the first sedan to roll over, causing two people to be ejected from the car. One of the accident victims was tragically pronounced dead at the accident scene.  The cause of the motor vehicle accident is currently under investigation.  There were no reports of criminal charges filed in the incident.
