Pedestrian Tragically Struck and Killed By a Car on U.S. 90 in Leon County, Florida
FLORIDA - A news article published on tallahassee.com reports a 30-year-old man from Tallahassee was tragically killed by an automobile while crossing a thoroughfare in Leon County, Florida.*
The accident report states that the crash occurred at around 8:30 PM last Saturday. A car was driven by a 20-year-old woman from St. Johns. She was heading east in the outside traffic lane of U.S. 90 by Aenon Church Road when the crash occurred.
The Florida Highway Patrol's incident report stated, "The pedestrian entered the roadway from the south shoulder, traveling north. The pedestrian entered the path of the vehicle."
The report also stated that the vehicle's front left side crashed into the pedestrian, who tragically died at the accident scene. The Florida Highway Patrol, Leon County EMS, Leon County Sheriff's Office, and the Tallahassee Fire Department all assisted in the pedestrian accident.
