Man Charged With DUI In Molino Crash That Injured Three Kids, Two Adults
FLORIDA - A news article published on northescambia.com reports that an Alabama man was arrested and allegedly charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after causing an accident that injured five people.*
The report states that an SUV towing a utility trailer was heading southbound along Highway 29 by Omega Drive at approximately 9:40 PM. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Silverado driver allegedly failed to yield to oncoming traffic as the driver attempted to turn northbound, causing the accident.
Three small children and two adults in the SUV were taken to the West Florida Hospital ER by the Escambia County EMS. They were treated for accident-related injuries.
The 29-year-old driver from Bay Minette was allegedly charged with DUI by the Florida Highway Patrol. The suspect was released on a $1,000 bond. The accident is currently under investigation.
