St. Cloud Man Tragically Killed in a Car Accident at U.S. Highway 192
FLORIDA - A news article published on aroundosceola.com reports that a St. Cloud man was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident last Wednesday morning.*
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the man's car was involved in an early-morning crash along U.S. Highway 192 at Nova Road.
The St. Cloud man, a 27-year-old man, was riding in a Dodge Neon. As the Dodge Neon attempted to turn left onto Nova Road, the Neon was hit by a Honda Pilot that was heading westbound on 192. The Honda Pilot driver, a 69-year-old man from New York, hit the right side of the Honda Pilot.
According to Florida Highway Patrol Lieutenant Kim Montes, the front seat passenger in the Dodge Neon was tragically pronounced deceased at the accident scene. The Neon driver, a 56-year-old woman, was taken to a local area hospital with serious accident-related injuries. Both occupants riding in the Honda Pilot were also transported to a local area hospital.
This accident is currently under investigation. The accident shut down westbound 192 traffic during the morning rush hour. No further information about the accident was provided by the report.
