Severe Parking Garage Accident in Tavares, Florida

FLORIDA - A news article published on clickorlando.com reports that a driver survived a serious accident in Tavares, Florida.  The report states that the driver accidentally drove off of the top of a parking garage in Tavares, Florida.*

The Tavares Police are currently investigating the 80-foot fall.  The report also states that the car plunged off the top level of a parking garage in downtown Tavares.  The automobile landed on its roof.  The accident occurred around 3:30 in the afternoon on Monday.

The Tavares Police stated that the driver then fled the accident scene and was arrested by police a short time later.  The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local area hospital.  The Tavares Police posted photos of the accident on its Facebook page.
