Tragic, Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident on Placida Road in Charlotte County, Florida
FLORIDA - According to a news story published on winknews.com, Florida Highway Patrol reported that a fatal accident occurred in Charlotte County, Florida.*
The report states that a 36-year-old man from Englewood tragically died in a single-vehicle Charlotte county accident. The accident victim was driving his pickup truck southbound along Placida Road, just north of the Cape Haze Resort.
The fatal accident report states that the victim's pickup truck, for an unknown reason, moved off the roadway and then overturned multiple times. The accident victim was ejected from his pickup truck and he died at the accident scene. No other accident information is known at this time.
The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident. The agency does not release the names of victims involved in traffic accidents due to Marsy's Law.
