The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a man has been apprehended and arrested for causing and fleeing from a deadly rear-end collision in Orange County, Florida. The accident happened last Friday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that troopers discovered the hit-and-run driver fled his car after the collision when an eyewitness reported to law enforcement authorities which direction the suspect took off. The witness' statement helped the officers locate the man. Troopers said that he now faces criminal charges of leaving the fatal accident scene and vehicular homicide. The accident is currently under investigation.
