Fatal Motorcycle Accident at the Intersection of River Road and U.S 41 in Venice, Florida
FLORIDA - According to a news story published on heraldtribune.com, Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal motorcycle accident between a truck and a motorcycle.*
The two motor vehicles met at the intersection of River Road and U.S 41 in Venice. The motorcycle driver, a 24-year-old man from Port Charlotte, allegedly missed a red light and then struck the truck's left side.
The motorcyclist was thrown from his motorcycle inside the intersection. He was tragically pronounced dead at the accident scene by Sarasota emergency first responders. The truck driver, a 26-year-old man from North Port, was unharmed in the collision. The motorcycle accident is currently under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
