I-4 Tractor-Trailer Truck Accident in Seffner, Florida

FLORIDA - According to a news story published on Patch.com, a man from Winter Haven was tragically killed in an Interstate-4 tractor-trailer accident.*

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, who is investigating the crash, reported that all westbound traffic lanes of Interstate-4 were closed for about four hours.

The early morning accident involved a tractor-trailer truck and a sedan.  The driver of the car, a 28-year-old man from Winter Haven man, crashed with a tractor-trailer truck in Seffner, resulting in his tragic death.  The accident forces threw the man from his motor vehicle.  He was tragically pronounced deceased by medical staff at a local area hospital, authorities reported.

According to law enforcement, the tractor-trailer truck driver, a trucker from Lakeland, did not sustain any accident-related injuries.  All westbound traffic lanes were closed as emergency crews and law enforcement officers worked the accident scene.  The fatal trucking accident is currently under investigation.
