Fatal Accident Closes All Traffic Lanes Along Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA - According to an online news story published on, police are investigating a serious motor vehicle accident on Beach Boulevard at Thalia Road in Jacksonville, Florida.*

The accident report states that the fatal accident closed down all eastbound traffic lanes of Beach Boulevard at Thalia Road.  Florida Highway Patrol troopers report that a 36-year-old motorcyclist was tragically killed in the accident that occurred at around six o'clock in the evening. 

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a sedan was heading north along Thalia Road and was stopped at the stop sign.  The motorcyclist, who was traveling east on Beach Boulevard, approached Thalia Road.  At some point, that driver in the sedan drove past the stop sign to make a left-hand turn.  The motorcycle then collided with the side of the sedan. 

The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the fatal motorcycle accident.  There were no reports of criminal charges being filed.
