Woman Tragically Killed in a Multiple Vehicle Crash on Florida's Turnpike

A news article published on nbcmiami.com reported that there was a deadly multi-vehicle accident on the Florida Turnpike that tragically killed a 23-year-old woman.*

The Florida Highway Patrol stated that the accident occurred around one in the morning.  The location of the fatal accident was in the northbound traffic lanes of the Florida Turnpike near Griffin Road.  

The report stated that all motor vehicles were moving northbound when the woman suddenly lost control of her truck and hit a pickup truck.  Her SUV then started to overturn and she was thrown out of her SUV.  Her vehicle then stopped on its roof and she was found in a travel lane.  According to the Florida Highway Patrol's statement, she tragically died at the accident scene. 

A 64-year-old Hollywood man was unable to see the car soon enough and he hit the victim's car which consequently struck the victim.  All northbound traffic lanes were shut down as law enforcement and rescue crews managed the accident scene.  The fatal accident is currently under investigation.
