Five Injured in a Daycare Van Accident in Orange County, Florida

ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA - A news article published on reports that five people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle accident in Orange County, Florida.*

According to Orange County Fire Rescue Officials, the severe motor vehicle accident happened at approximately 4:00 PM.  The location of the accident was at Avalon Boulevard and South Alafaya Trail in eastern Orange County.

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the accident injured two adults and three children.  The report states that the accident involved four motor vehicles, including a Waterford Lakes daycare passenger van.  Florida Highway Patrol troopers reported that the driver of a sports utility vehicle in the accident allegedly sustained a medical episode that caused the SUV driver to collide with other vehicles.

Accident investigators stated that none of the accident victims were critically injured in the multi-vehicle accident.  The crash is currently under investigation.  No further details were provided.
