Hit-and-run Accident Reported in Okaloosa County, Florida

OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA - A news article published on wkrg.com reports that Florida state troopers are currently investigating a hit-and-run crash in Okaloosa County, Florida.*

According to the report, the collision occurred at approximately 5:00 in the morning by Riverwood Drive in Okaloosa County, Florida. 

The collision happened following an unidentified vehicle driving into the bicycle lane, striking a cyclist. The driver then fled the accident scene, according to a Florida Highway Patrol press release.  The cyclist tragically passed away as a result of injuries.

Florida troopers are searching for a "large Penske style box truck" in Okaloosa County, Florida.  The fatal bicycle accident is currently under investigation.
