Tragic Fatal Accident on Sawgrass Expressway in Tamarac, Florida

TAMARAC, FLORIDA - A news report published on wsvn.com states that a fatal accident occurred along Sawgrass Expressway in Tamarac, Florida.*  The tragic accident caused significant delays last Wednesday afternoon. 

Florida Highway Patrol troopers answered the call to a severe motor vehicle accident along the northbound traffic lanes of the Sawgrass Expressway, north of Commercial Boulevard.  The crash transpired at around 11:40 in the morning.  

According to the news report, two right lanes were shut down.  A maintenance truck and Acura passenger car collided with a barrier wall.  The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a 21-year-old woman who was operating the Acura sedan was tragically declared deceased at the accident scene.  The two individuals inside the truck were not hurt.
