Two People Tragically Ejected From a Motor Vehicle Accident in Southport, Florida
SOUTHPORT, FLORIDA - A news report published on mypanhandle.com states that an 18-year-old woman from Panama City, Florida, is in critical medical condition after an accident in Southport, Florida.*
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred last Sunday night.
The tragic, fatal accident occurred around 8 PM on S.R. 77 by Scurlock Road. The Florida Highway Patrol troopers stated that a 19-year-old man from Southport was driving his Ford Ranger southbound along S.R. 77 by McCormick Road when he purportedly crossed a grass median and struck a Honda Accord traveling northbound on S.R. 77 by Scurlock Road.
After that accident, Florida Highway Patrol troopers stated the Ranger then collided with a Chevy Colorado that was also traveling northbound along S.R. 77.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the Ford Ranger's driver and passenger were not wearing seatbelts, and they were tragically ejected from the pickup truck. The 18-year-old woman is in critical medical condition, while the other people involved in the accident have minor injuries.
