Tragic, Fatal Accident on State Road 7 and Davie Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA - A news report published on sun-sentinel.com reports that one man was tragically killed and two children were injured in a rollover accident that happened at around 3 AM.*
A Broward Fire Rescue spokesperson reported that the crash occurred around State Road 7 and Davie Boulevard.
The driver of the truck was tragically killed, and two people inside the sedan are presumed to have survived the accident, Battalion Chief Michael Kane reported.
An Infiniti's front end that remained in the road was described as "a heap of mangled metal." The Ford truck ended up on its side nearby the accident.
Two Sherrif's deputies were holding up a tarp to shield a victim's body from the view of the motorists passing by accident.
Kane stated that rescue crews transported two injured parties in the accident to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Broward Sheriff's Office Traffic Homicide Unit is currently handling the fatal accident investigation.
