Motorcyclist Severely Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Panama City Beach, Florida
BAY COUNTY, FLORIDA - A news article published on mypanhandle.com reports that a motorcyclist is in serious medical condition following a motorcycle crash in Panama City Beach, Florida.*
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the victim, a 48-year-old Arkansas man, was riding his motorcycle eastbound along Highway 98/Panama City Beach Parkway by the Philips Inlet Bridge. At some point, the motorcyclist purportedly attempted to change lanes and might not have seen the approaching pickup truck in the other lane.
The motorcycle accident report says that the front of the pickup truck struck the back of the motorcycle, causing the motorcycle to wreck.
Florida Highway Patrol stated the motorcyclist was severely injured after the motorcycle accident, and he was transported to a local hospital. The accident is currently under investigation.
