DELAWARE - A news article published on GOVTECH.COM reports that the Delaware governor signed into law a new bill that allows the Delaware Department of Transportation to publish unidentifiable crash data with the public from the department's website.  The idea is to help educate the public concerning Delaware's most dangerous intersections for drivers and pedestrians.

BRUNSWICK, GEORGIA - A news article published on wrdw.com reports that a couple from the State of Georgia was among the three individuals tragically killed in the Montana train derailment.*  The couple was from Glynn County, the Brunswick News reported.

THOMASVILLE, GEORGIA - A news article published on timesenterprise.com reports that the Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating a fatal automobile accident last Monday morning.*  Thomasville Police Department officers reported that a motor vehicle struck a pole and then flipped over.  The crash left the victim in critical medical condition.  

GWINNETT COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news article published on 11alive.com reports that law enforcement officers are attempting to identify the driver who fled the accident scene with a motorcyclist who tragically died.*  The motorcycle accident occurred over the weekend, and police were hoping to identify the hit-and-run driver who left the scene.

MACON, GEORGIA - A news article published on 13wmaz.com reports that investigators in Macon are still searching for the driver who struck a motorcyclist on Log Cabin Drive and then left an injured motorcycle dying in the street.*

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MARYLAND - A news article published on foxbaltimore.com reports that two people were seriously injured in a car accident.* The vehicle collided with a wall on the outer loop of the I-495 beltway last Sunday in Montgomery County, Maryland.

STATESBORO, GEORGIA - According to an online news report published on wtoc.com, one individual was tragically killed in an early morning hit-and-run collision in Statesboro, Georgia.*  The Georgia State Patrol stated that the fatal pedestrian accident occurred at around 2:30 in the morning last Sunday.

LEHI ACRES, FLORIDA - According to an online news report published on floridanewstimes.com, a fatal hit-and-run collision in Lehi Acres tragically killed a woman and injured another woman.*

CANTON, GEORGIA - A news report posted on patch.com states that the Canton Police Department will be targeting speeders who are exceeding more than 11 mph over the speed limit in school zones.  The campaign will begin October 4, 2021, and the Canton Police Department will be using speed detection devices to enforce the posted speed limit at Cherokee High School.

An NFL player suffered a head injury during a car accident that involved a deer.  Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer reported that their player was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident after he attempted to swerve out of the way of a deer.  A significant number of serious injuries occur when drivers try to avoid striking a deer that has crossed their path.  

According to Michigan State Police's Lieutenant Derrick Carroll, law enforcement agencies across Michigan have observed a spike in accidents since marijuana was legalized in Michigan.  Lieutenant Carroll stated that there had been an increase of 140% of total marijuana-related accidents and a 430% increase in injury accidents involving marijuana use while driving.  

JOPLIN, MONTANA - According to an online news report published on gpb.org, several people were tragically killed last Saturday afternoon in an Amtrak train derailment in Montana.*  The Amtrak train travels between Seattle and Chicago.  Law enforcement authorities worked to help passengers out of several toppling several train cars.

According to a report on newsweek.com, a small plane pilot was rescued following an accident in Ware County, Georgia.*  The report states that the plane "got caught in power lines" and was hanging down from the power lines for several hours.  

SNELLVILLE, GEORGIA - A news report published on cbs46.com states that a southbound traffic lane on Scenic Highway was shut down following a police officer's accident.*

According to an online news report on foxnews.com, an Amtrak train derailed in Montana, causing a serious train accident.  The report states that many of the train's passengers were trapped inside the wreckage.*

BUFFALO, NY - A news report posted on wgrz.com reports that an accident shut down a portion of I-290 Eastbound was shut down for an hour at the Niagara Falls Boulevard exit due to an accident.*

MONROE COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news report posted on wgxa.tv states that the Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies reported that their deputies worked two serious motor vehicle accidents along I-75 Southbound.*

ALBANY, GEORGIA - A news report published on walb.com states that a man was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred in Albany, Georgia.*

A new story published on nowhabersham.com reports that a Habersham school bus driver was involved in a seroius motor vehicle accident and law enforcement arrested and charged the school bus driver with DUI following the crash.  According to the news report, prescription medications could have contributing the the accident, officials reported.

According to a news report posted on macon.com, a serious tractor-trailer truck accident occurred in the northbound traffic lanes of I-475 north of Zebulon Road in Bibb County, Georgia.*

JASPER COUNTY, GEORGA - A news article published on 13wmaz.com states that Federal authorities are investigating a helicopter accident that tragically killed three people in Jasper County, Georgia.*  According to the FAA release, the accident occurred on Thursday.  The victims were all from the Atlanta, Georgia, area. 

WASHINGTON COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news report on 13wmaz.com states that the Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating a fatal crash in Washington County, Georiga.*

ALBANY, GEORGIA - A news report published on walb.com states that a man tragically passed away following a severe four-wheeler accident.*

GEORGIA - A news report on yahoo.com states that a 12-year-old boy was tragically killed in an auto accident at around 7:09 in the morning.*

Approximately 20,000 children throughout the United States are transported to local hospital emergency rooms for treatment of injuries caused by "television or furniture falling or tipping, according to the Journal Injury Epidemiology.  Researchers from Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio report 70% of these victims are children six years old or younger.

A new study discovered that most car seats are not installed or used properly.

BUTLER, GEORGIA - A news report published on 41nbc.com states that the Taylor County Sheriff's Office reported a fatal accident on social media.*  The fatal accident occurred along Highway 96 Eastbound and closed down all lanes.

FORSYTH, GEORGIA - A news article posted on 41nbc.com states that the Monroe County Sheriff's Office issued a media release providing details about a Wednesday afternoon accident on I-475 Northbound.*

VENICE, FLORIDA - A news report posted on heraldtribune.com states that a 15-year-old was tragically ejected and killed in a severe motor vehicle accident. *

AUGUSTA, GEORGIA - A news article published on WJBF.com reports that one woman was y killed in a serious motor vehicle accident. The fatal accident occurred last Thursday night.*

A news report published on military.com states that a 23-year-old Specialist with the Louisiana National Guard was tragically killed in an alleged drunken driving accident in McAllen, Texas.*  The victim was deployed to help the federal mission at the border with Mexico. 

HOUSTON COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news article published on wgxa.tv reports that the Georgia Department of Transportation reported a fatal motor vehicle accident on Georgia 26 by Elko Road.*  The fatal motor vehicle accident blocked all of the traffic lanes on Georgia 26.

COLUMBUS, GEORGIA - A news article published on wtvm.com states that a person was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 27 and County Road 208 in Harris County, Georgia.*  The news report states that a pickup truck and a motorcycle were involved in the fatal accident.

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA - A news report published on KTVU.com states that a woman was tragically killed in a hit-and-run collision at a San Jose intersection.*  The intersection is notorious for fatal pedestrian collisions. 

HEPHZIBAH, GEORGIA - A news article published on walb.com states that two people were tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident with an 18-wheeler.*

SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA - According to an online news report posted on clickorlando.com, a serious accident involving a truck and an Amtrak train occurred in Longwood, Florida.*   The crash backed up traffic in the area for several hours.  According to Longwood police officers, the accident happened last Tuesday afternoon at approximately 2:10 PM by the intersection of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Georgia Avenue.

COCOA, FLORIDA - A news report published on clickorlando.com states that one person was tragically killed last Friday in a serious motor vehicle accident.*. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck and a tow truck were involved in a collision in the Cocoa area.

LINCOLN, NE - A news article on sandhillsexpress.com reports that a Florida man was arrested following a fatal multi-vehicle accident in Lincoln, Nebraska.*  The tragic accident killed two people last Saturday.  The multi-vehicle accident involved eight motor vehicles that were all heading west on I-80.

PHOENIX, ARIZONA - Sixteen people were injured and two others were tragically killed in accidents in the Phoenix area over the weekend.  According to the National Traffic Highway Safety Administration, traffic accident fatalities rose by 10.5% last year, although the number of motorists on the roadways fell.  

OREGON -The number of serious traffic accidents is rising throughout Oregon.  Most people surveyed by thechronicleonline.com believe that increasing law enforcement patrols will slow the increasing number of serious traffic accidents and fatalities in Oregon.  

ASHLAND, OHIO - The Ohio Farm Bureau Federation Trustee, Roger Baker, believes Ohio is at risk for losing its farming industry due to preventable accidents.*  The National Safety Council states that agriculture has some of the "highest rates of preventable fatal work injuries among major industry sectors."

DALTON, GEORGIA - A news report on 11alive.com states that three teenagers were tragically killed and two other people were seriously injurd in a severe car accident in Dalton last Friday night.*

DEKALB COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news article published on 11alive.com stated that two emergency medical technicians from Georgia were traveling to Louisiana to bring supplies to Hurricane Ida victims.*

Automobile manufacturers, like Tesla, are developing software that enables their vehicles to operate safely even if the driver is incapacitated due to an emergency medical event or intoxicated.  Drunk driving is illegal and is causes more than 10,000 preventable deaths in the United States each year.  Many of those tragically killed by drunk or drugged drivers are innocent travelers.   The country of Norway has some of the most statistically safest roads in the world.  However, a 2019 International Transport Forum report showed that 8% of Norway's fatal accidents involve drunk drivers.

BARTOW COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news report posted on patch.com states that a tractor-trailer truck crossed over a Highway 411 median and crashed head-on into a sports car.*

ATLANTA, GEORGIA - A news report on macon.com states that a college athlete was tragically killed by a falling elevator at a Northeast Atlanta apartment building.*

COLQUITT, GEORGIA - A news article published on ajc.com reports that a Southwest Georgia Police Chief was tragically found deceased in a motor vehicle accident.*  According to several news sources, Police Chief's car was found wrecked along the side of the road.

DEKALB COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news article published on macon.com states that a teenage boy was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident last Wednesday in the early morning hours.*  

SOUTH CAROLINA - A news article published on blufftontoday.com states that the bodies of two brothers have been retrieved from Savannah River following a boat accident.*  The fatal boat accident occurred on the Savannah River, according to law enforcement officials. 

RABUN COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news article on nowhabersham.com reports that a Rabun County Sheriff's Office employee was tragically killed in an accident near Clayton, Georgia.*

GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA - A news article published on newschannelnebraska.com states that a man from Central Nebraska was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident.* The alleged "at-fault" driver was arrest and booked into jail for criminal offenses connected with the fatal accident.

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA - A news report published on wsav.com states that a three-vehicle accident with serious injuries shut down all of the eastbound traffic lanes along Interstate 16 at Dean Forest Road.*  According to the Pooler Police Department, the "severe accident," sent eight people to a local area hospital with serious injuries.

CHATHAM COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news article published on wjcl.com states that the Chatham Emergency Management has reported on a recent Interstate 16 accident.*  According to the news report, all eastbound traffic lanes along Interstate-16 from Dean Forest Road to Interstate-95 were shut down due to a severe motor vehicle collision with accident-related injuries.

There have been several skincare products recalled in the past few months.  Many of these recalls are very concerning because they involve popular brands of sunscreens and hand sanitizers.  Lately, the issues have been related to benzene exposure.  

TOKYO, JAPAN - Toyota Motor Corporation's autonomous e-Palette vehicles program in Tokyo, Japan, was terminated by Toyota following a collision with a visually impaired Paralympics athlete.  Last Friday, Toyota publically addressed the accident that happened inside the Athletes' Village. 

COLUMBUS, GEORGIA - A news report published on wtvm.com states that the Columbus Police Department is looking for a suspect who was the driver in a fatal hit-and-run on Forrest Road in Columbus, Georgia.*

BANKS COUNTY, GEORGIA - A news story published on nowhabersham.com reports that a fatal two-vehicle accident occurred in Banks County, Georgia.*  The victim, a Carnesville woman, was driving a Buick Park Avenue north along GA 63 when her car left the road and collided with another vehicle.  The accident also injured three other people. 

JONESBORO, GEORGIA - A news report published on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's website states that Clayton County law enforcement officers are currently investigating a shooting with injuries at the Riverwood Townhouses in Jonesboro, Georgia.*
