Georgia Car Accident Attorneys, Montlick & Associates, Sponsors Art Contest with Safe America Foundation
Chalk 1 Up for Safety, a program created by Safe America and sponsored by Georgia Car Accident Attorneys, Montlick & Associates, is a sidewalk art contest where student groups compete for prizes. The program empowers and encourages Atlanta-area teens to communicate a message to other peers through art. This year's idea stressed that texting and driving can wait.
The Georgia Car Accident Attorneys at Montlick & Associates are proud to sponsor Chalk 1 Up for Safety as part of their ongoing commitment to driver safety and their partnership with Safe America. At a recent C1U4S event, Montlick & Associates donated $500 to the winning school for their creative message reminding others to never text while driving.
The Safe America Foundation created the art-contest as part of their annual SafeTeen Driving Academy and Brain Camp, an educational safety expo for middle and high school aged kids and their parents. Open to all metro Atlanta youth, the Brain Camp features age-specific programs designed to address issues that concern today's teens. High school kids will learn about topics such as driving safety and how to get your first job. Middle school kids will hear about how to succeed in high school, how to handle peer pressure and bullying. The next Brain Camp will take place on Saturday, November 7th at the Delta Flight Museum, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Click on the links above for registration information.
The themes for the upcoming “Chalk-Off” include:
It Can Wait® - an anti-texting and driving message.
Be More Than a Bystander - how to combat bullying.
Be #CyberSafe - an online safety message to convey the idea of protecting your virtual reputation.
Both the middle and high schools winners will each receive a $500.00 check from Montlick & Associates. Click on the links above for registration information.
