Montlick, Founder & CEO Montlick & Associates, P.C. has 22 lawyers in the firm, as well as over 12 additional lawyers who are affiliated with the firm. We have a strong team of employees ("team members") who are dedicated to our goal of providing you with exceptional service and personal attention. David R. Montlick founded the firm in 1984 with the goal of creating the most service-oriented and innovative personal injury law firm in the country. He was determined to build a law firm where every client received high quality legal services, with personal attention and compassion. Under Mr. Montlick's leadership, Montlick & Associates was structured and managed in a way that would help assure that the typical complaints that clients have about their lawyers would not occur. For example, the allocation of work between attorneys and support staff was structured so that attorneys were more closely involved and in touch with clients than is the case in many firms. Through on-going recruitment efforts, the firm searches extensively for people who it believes share its values about what constitutes good service and who will have a genuine concern for each client. Employees ("team members") are not only trained in technical matters but they also receive training on the firm's service standards. As Mr. Montlick indicates, "We want to serve every client with such a level of responsiveness that he or she will feel like they are our only client." This includes the tracking of thousands of details on clients' cases, collecting of evidence, keeping clients informed and complying with legal time deadlines, to name a few. Computers are on every team members' desk and in our library. Notebook computers are provided to team members who travel regularly.
