2008 Tribute to our Troops
| Our hearts and deepest gratitude go out to the troops and their families each and every day. To show our appreciation, we created these two special tribute messages to air throughout the year: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
In addition, we were the proud sponsor of Georgia’s Salute2America on WSB-TV. We partnered with the station to broadcast a number of special Fourth of July military greetings from Georgia servicemen (see six television messages below). We also sponsored “The Most Deserving Military Family” Contest to send a Georgia military family on a 5-day vacation to Orlando Florida. The WSB news team selected 5 finalists, and the public selected the winner by voting online. Details on the winning family and finalists are below. |
