According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Rollovers are dangerous incidents that have a higher fatality rate than other types of crashes. More than 10,000 people are killed a year in car rollover accidents. Taller, narrow vehicles are more likely to rollover; however a rollover crash can happen in any type of vehicle. Other factors such as driver behavior and road environmental conditions also help determine whether or not a vehicle rolls over.
